“I want Tulsa to have nice things. I think that we deserve to have cool, sexy shops.”
Reading these words from Lisa Becklund made me tear up - I couldn’t agree more.
When Grassroots Larder closed, I was devastated.
Luckily, we got the best plot twist ever when Lisa Becklund and Linda Ford–multi-James Beard Award Semifinalists and owners of iconic Living Farms Kitchen, FarmBar, and il seme–bought and reopened Grassroots as Cow and Cabbage.

Retaining all of the charm of the former Cherry Street staple, the new version is ‘less bougie market and more farmers co-op’ and features a new seated dinner component.
Lisa and Linda are regulars at the Tulsa Farmers’ Market, living their mission of truly supporting local farmers and producers, and invest in our local food chain and makers.
If you haven’t been there yet - GO!

Featuring ingredients from our local makers, and vibes for days, it’s definitely our new go-to regular dinner haunt.
Dinner service is 5-8pm Tues-Sat, Lunch is 11-2pm Tues-Sat, and general hours 10am-8pm Tues-Fri.
And yes, you can find Cauxffee there, as well! We couldn’t be more honored to be on the shelves of Cow and Cabbage and a part of everything Lisa and Linda represent - a more values-aligned fit could not be imagined in my wildest dreams.
